death of heather is a shoegaze / alternative rock band from bangkok, thailand, formed in 2017.

originally beginning as a solo bedroom recording project by tay (vocals, guitar), the band later expanded into a full lineup, shaping a sound defined by dense guitar textures, emotional weight, and understated melodies.
drawing influence from my bloody valentine, slowdive, diiv, and ride.

death of heather’s music exists between noise and vulnerability. their songs explore themes of love, loss, emotional detachment, and inner conflict, delivered through minimal, direct lyrics that focus on feeling rather than narrative.

the band’s discography includes demo i ep (2018), their raw and intimate early release; the self-titled full-length album death of heather (2020), which expanded their sound into heavier and more immersive territory; and forever ep (2023), marking a more emotionally refined and focused chapter for the band.
